The ring is made of a thick band of approximately 5mm in width, with a spinning band in the centre (approximately 3mm in width). The spinning band is comprised of an intricate Sailor’s Knot design.

The sailor’s knot design features two intertwined ropes, and may have been made by sailors during their journeys as a way to remember those important to them. The knot is symbolic of love, friendship and harmony.
